Hi Caimans!

We made it through try-outs and our first full week of practice! Yay! Parents, thank you for giving us the opportunity to coach your players. The group of young ladies we have are truly amazing to watch! We have a good mix of veteran and new players to tennis. It has been great to see the veteran players help support and "coach" up our newbies. The girls are all working hard, learning more about strokes, different grips, strategies & best of all…each other. Their likeness for each other has been endearing. We love their Caiman spirits!

Thank you parents for attending the "meet/greet" briefing this week. It sure helps to put a face with a name and to get everyone up to speed on Parent & Player expectations, commitments, match schedules & carpools.

Being new to the program, Coach Angela transitioned very smoothly. She picked on the girl's name quickly & has taken charge of their warm ups, helping with carpools, uniform distribution & much more. Thank you Coach!

Team moms Trina McMahon & Liza Alexander are busy busy busy coordinating snacks/carpool rides to & from school to practices/matches, first team dinner & etc…. Please feel free to reach out to them with any concerns/questions about Carpools, Match Venues and Snacks.

It takes a “village”, immense communication , organization & patience to have a wonderful & successful season. So thank you everyone for being my “village”. I can not do my job well without all of you!

Week of August 23-27 at a Glance:

8/23 Monday Practice 3:30-5pm (CAHS Trainer will demo Stretches)
Uniform Distribution for the Newbies & Pizza Picnic 5:15 - 6:15pm (Woodland Tennis Grassy area)

8/24 Tuesday Home Match vs Valley center. Early release 2:15pm
8/25 Wednesday - Practice 3:30-5pm
8/26 Thursday - Practice 3:30-5pm
8/27 Friday - Home Match vs Poway, Early release 2:15pm

Line Ups will be sent the night before each Match.
