Hello Track Family!
We had a great kick off to the season last week, thank you everyone for coming out. If anyone has friends that want to come try track, it's not too late to bring them. Bring everyone you know that's even the slightest interested!
Your coaches are very proud of the hard work you all are putting in, so keep it up! You all are crushing it and will keep improving. Remember, it takes two full weeks to get into shape. After this week's hard work things will get easier for those of you that are getting back into shape or are new.
The game plan for this week is to keep building up everyone's cardio and strength. The bigger base we build now, the farther we will go later. Think like you're building a pyramid.
Practice:
Practices will be on the same schedule as last week at Hidden Valley.
M-F 3:30-5:00
*Til 5:30 upon request of athletes who want to work on event techniques.*
**Calendar Change**
For those of you that took a look at the calendar last week, there has been a change. I will be moving Picture Day to March 2nd.
This is to help with scheduling for our athletes still in Winter season finals. They will not be joining us until after this week, or possibly further out if they keep advancing. We want everyone to be included so the change was made.
Carpool:
For those of you interested in carpooling. Please reach out to each other so we can get that dialed in. This is to help you parents that need your children taken from school to practice or possibly from practice to home, or close to home. Carpooling is a great help so you all can get a day off from driving! I made a contact sheet to help get you connected with each other.
