This Week’s Theme: Adversity

The real measure of a person is not in times of ease, but in times of adversity. What you have been building inside will come out at that time.
No one wants adversity to strike. Somtimes, it hits at the worst time and is not something we are looking for. The question becomes:
How will you respond?
The only way to be ready for adversity is to have a strong conviction in what you are doing, to have encouragers near that will help, and to be willing to stand alone if you must. Each team will go through adversity during the season. Even champions must go through times that are tough.
Great teams will rise up.
Average teams will crumble.
That decision is up to each one of you.
Football, like life, is not about how many times you get knocked down, it’s about how many times you get back up and keep fighting to do the next thing as best you can.
