Oct  Football Newsletter: The “Homecoming” Edition

 

Hey Football Family,

 

This week in football: WIN

 

This program is founded on the ideal that football is not just about winning games; that football is about becoming a winner in all areas of life.  Yes, we want to win each and every single ball game, but more importantly we want to understand the skills, character, and sacrifices needed to win both on and off the field.

 

Some of the lessons you learn out here on the field find immediate application to your life now.  Some lessons need some time of reflection and will become evident in a few weeks, months, or even years.

 

Until that time comes we heed the voices of many great coaches who have come before us:

 

“You play to win the game.”

 

Plain and simple.  

 

Our goal this week, as it is every week, is to go win on Friday Night.

 

Practice has to reflect that all week.  Compete with one another.  Get each other ready for Friday.

 

Stay together.  Stand together.
