A friend of mine is offering a free strength and conditioning class this Saturday 2/1 at SoCal VBC. Gwen and her team focus on volleyball sports performance and I have seen the effects first-hand.

Brought to you by HealthWest Therapy in San Marcos, this program is designed for ages 15-18 and will help athletes learn correct body movement patterns, prevent injuries, gain strength and power through weight lifting including Olympic techniques, help endurance, and encourage healthy life skills. In essence, athletes will become better, stronger and healthier human beings. We will also touch on nutrition, sports psychology, and overall wellness.
As parents, we aren’t always The Ones who can speak certain things into your child’s life. I am a mom of 3 great athletes, but I sometimes need someone else’s influence and words or encouragement to speak true to them, at the right time and the right place. So, it’s a passion of mine to help be That Person and have That Program designed to help you and your athlete.
That being said, I’d love any boys, ages 15-18, to come try our Sports Performance Program. The program is open to all boys - you don’t have to play volleyball. So, invite friends! It will meet 1x/week on Saturday mornings at 10:00am. There is a FREE session scheduled for Saturday, February 1st! Come try it - if you’d like to join, let’s sign you up!!! Classes will be approximately $15/session.
